• Routine Cleaning: Clean regularly with mild soap, warm water, and a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt, salt, and debris. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
• Stain Prevention: Wipe spills promptly, especially food, oils, or sunscreen, to prevent staining and surface buildup.
• Maintain Original Colour (Optional): To preserve teak’s warm honey tone, apply a teak protector or sealer as needed. Avoid teak oils, which can lead to uneven colouring or mildew.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, or pressure washers, as these can damage the wood fibres.
• Seasonal Care: For extended longevity, cover or store in a dry, sheltered area during prolonged periods of rain or when not in use.
• Natural Variations: Hairline cracks or slight movement in the wood may occur as teak adapts to climate changes. This is normal and part of its organic character.
• Air dry Slipcover. Do not machine wash or dry clean.
