2 slices of jalapeno
2 oz. lime juice
2 Tbsp. blackberry jam
1 oz. Cointreau
4 oz. tequila
Lime, for garnish
Margarita salt and tajin, for the rim, optional
Into the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle up the jalapeno with the lime juice and jam. Fill it with ice, then add the cointreau and tequila. Shake super well so everything incorporates.
Wet the rim of two glasses and roll the outer rim in equal amounts of margarita salt and tajin. Fill the glasses with ice, a few fresh blackberries. Strain the margarita between the glasses. Top with a splash of lime soda water if you want it lighter.
Serve margaritas with a small wedge of lime.

Make ahead - you could batch these ahead of time, and shake them with ice, or even just pour them over ice with a splash of soda water to serve if you wanted to make these for a group!
